Digital coupling with LGB-like barb and integrated magnetic drive, can be connected to a function output on the decoder. It is used to uncouple loco from car, whereby there must not be a barb on the car.

Digital decoupling with LGB-like barb without motor (produced by Heyn / Fertig), but delivered with a wire rope hoist for an external motor; usually driven by a servo. This decoupling also lifts the hook of it's counterpart.

All ZIMO decoders are equipped with connections for servo control wires; large scale decoders MX690V, MX695V, MX696V, etc. and also the corresponding power supply (5V); the MX695V has a direct connection for the servo-wire.
