ZIMO offers a large variety of large scale decoders (3 families with 8 types) and loco boards (3 types) that provide many variants or combinations.
*) the function outputs of ZIMO large scale decoders are equipped in groups of 4 each with overcurrent protection, which limits the total current of these 4 outputs to 2A each.. Except for these variations, all decoders and combinations are equipped alike and complete: from a synchronous rectifier for high performance without much heat productions to a 10 Watt audio amplifier (MS990 even 2x 10 Watt!, MS950 3 Watt).. The small difference in the permitted motor and total current (6A if based on MS990 or MX699, 4A if based on MS950) in reality does not have much impact. Types of connections:
